What is CPS Cost per Sale?

Cost per Sale or CPS refers to the advertising model in which the advertiser pays money to the publisher each time the advertisement generates a sale. CPS is one of the most common models of affiliate marketing partnerships. In fact, this model predates online marketing by decades, which is not a surprise that a huge number of affiliate networks have it in their offer. The difference between commission-based affiliate marketing method and CPS model is that the former one depends on the price of each item sold by the affiliate partner. Rather than getting a percentage of every sale, in case of the CPS model the partner gets a fixed amount.
